Story of the Tea

In the heart of bustling streets, where the vibrant colors of spice bazaars painted the air, there lived a timeless elixir known as Masala CTC Tea. This spirited blend, a tale of tradition and spice, unfolded like a chapter from an ancient chai chronicle. In the rhythmic dance of cut, tear, and curl, the robust CTC tea leaves eagerly awaited their rendezvous with a symphony of spices. As the fragrant masala medley of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves embraced the leaves, a sensory journey began. With each infusion, the pot echoed the stories of lively conversations shared over steaming cups in bustling chai stalls. Masala CTC Tea became more than a beverage; it was a sip of nostalgia, a fragrant passport to the bustling spice markets of India, and a cherished tale in every cup.

Just tea and spices

Real fresh, fragrant ingredients you can see and smell. Best ready to brew Chai mix i have found. The spices give it a soft sweetness, so no sugar needed. Reasonably priced for this quality.

My favorite tea, I will be buying more

Update: I am on my 2nd bag now. I love this so much. After brewing the tea in my French press, I have started adding ground coffee and brewing coffee with the once brewed tea leaves in it and it is SO GOOD.******Original review:This tea is my absolute favorite. I was originally trying to find a tiger chai tea mix because I fell in love with the flavor at a boba shop where it is a special, and after doing some research I found that this is super close, it is just missing vanilla. I bought this so I could make my own knockoff version of the boba tea at home, and I am thrilled with it.I brew the tea at 212 degrees since it is a black tea and I steep it for at least 5 minutes. After I pour out the tea, I add a little bit of fresh tea leaf mix and I'll make a second batch from the same leaves. I keep adding a little bit of tea and using the same leaves all day long and it works great. (I am fully aware that this may very well be considered a crime against tea to some, and I apologize if that made you cringe). The tea is fragrant and flavorful, especially the first batch made from fresh leaves. The black pepper gives it a kick that I never would have imagined enjoying if it hadn't been for the boba shop. I just started to bottle it up into 8oz bottles to use throughout the day as 8oz is the perfect amount to put over ice and add milk in our drinking glasses. This also lets me chill it in the fridge instead of shaking it with ice and watering the tea down.I don't think I am going to get 125 cups out of the bag as I make it pretty strong, but I am happy with it and will definitely be buying more. I have had it nine days and the bag is already over halfway gone.In my photo showing the chilled bottles of teas, the small bottle is this tea and the big bottle is jasmine.

Revised from Very Strong to "My New Favorite"

I was very careful to measure so I could write a proper review. First, the tea is grainy, which I like very much, in comparison to tea's that are crushed to powder. I steeped 1 tablespoon in 1.5 cups water, for 5 minutes. It is very strong. Perfect for adding milk and sugar.Instead of tossing the tea grounds to compost, I dried them for another use, and actually liked the 2nd go-round better than the first. It was still clean and tasty, but not as strong.I recommend this for the bolder tea drinkers.Update: It took some time to learn the right way to brew this. But I finally got it, and now its the best tea.

Decent Blend

I am a big fan of masala chai, and was so excited for this product. I'm satisfied with how much of the blend is provided in the bag. And it's easier than ever before to brew my own chai and chai lattes at home. The aroma is mouth-watering. The product itself is fine. It's by no means the best chai I've had, probably actually being some of the most mediocre. If you follow the instructions, you get a pretty weak cup of tea. I've been trying to fix this by steeping a little more a little longer, but it's such a delicate balance and I'm bad at math. I'm satisfied with this product and happy I took a chance with it, but still in search of a good cup.

Simple ingredients, great with milk

This tea is great! It smells wonderful in the fall and tastes like chai from a cafe. I added milk to mine to make a latte. Two things to be aware of: 1. You need a tea strainer or your own cheesecloth because this is loose leaves. 2. You may not want to gift this to a tea novice. There's no instructions and it's not simply dunking a premeasured bag into a cup.Other than the fact it's not super gift-able to a new tea drinker, this product is pretty good. I love that the ingredients are straightforward with no added weird stuff. Nice for a regular tea drinker or someone who doesn't mind googling for a few minutes.

A Tasty Chai

I drink masala chai many days a week. I've stuck with the same brand for a couple years. But, I decided to give this one a try. Most masala chai's are very similar, but sometimes have slightly different ingredients. The one I have been using doesn't have ginger in it (but I add my own ginger). So these basically are the same ingredients. The flavors are slightly different. Not very different, but you would know if you tried them side by side. Very tasty.I make my chai with just whole milk in a pot on the stove (I prefer no bitterness in masala chai, and making it just in milk provides a great taste with no bitterness). I like mine strong, I use 2 spoons for a cup of tea. I simmer for 10+ minutes. I do not add any sweetener, but some people like to. This made a great chai, good color, pleasant smell, and great taste. Tastes like Christmas. This is a very good masala chai, I have no complaints. Has a good spice to black tea ratio.

It's tasty Tea Tea!

If you are a fan of that Chai Tea Latte from the big green apron coffee shop, you'll LOVE this.If you have a more refined taste, you too will enjoy this tea. This comes as loose leaf so you will want to make sure you know how to brew it. comes with directions on the back 200ml of water, 2g of tea, and about 3-5 min of steep time.I made about a cup and a quarter myself so I used about 1 tablespoon of tea leaves and steeped for about 6 minutes and gave it a stir about at the 4 min park.It has a really nice aroma. I wish I has smell-o-vision so you could smell it. If you want a Latte, add a little cream and sugar while it steeps and you'll be pretty close. If you want to be extra, steam your milk, add it to your cup, poor the steep and add foam to the top.Would recommend if you want to try a loose leave tea. Really good.

Need to double the amount for my taste, and therefore too expensive

Quite good. I wish it was extra spicy. I’m not gonna get 50 cups out of this because I have to double the amount and still not getting enough flavor but I’m enjoying it. I doubt that I will buy it again because it’s too expensive considering the amount of cups of tea I get out of it for my taste.

Great tasting!!!

This tea is one of the best I have ever tasted! One of the few chai teas that has a “chai” flavor in my opinion. I have been searching for some time now for a good chai … found it. Note: it is pretty strong , but wow is it good! I will be buying more from this company.

Awesome Chai

Delicious chai! It is peppery.. and has a nice kick. The package says it will make 125 cups… that might be the case if you are using the tiny little espresso cups, but if your using anything larger than a shot glass you will definitely not get 125 cups. It is definitely cheaper and better to make your own chai, than to get it from a chain coffee shop. This is a really good tea. I would buy again.
