Floral loose leaf tea praised for its beautiful appearance and fragrant aroma. Customers said the flavor is tart, refreshing, and complex with hibiscus, rose, and chamomile. Most found it relaxing and enjoyed it hot or iced. Some noted strong fennel/anise flavor that was polarizing—delightful to some, overpowering to others. A few raised concerns about ingredient clarity.

Great loose leaf tea

I've been wanting to try more loose leaf teas, and this was a good one. The flavor is pleasant and the floral aroma is really nice while it's brewing. I don't have a tea infuser, so I just added the tea directly to a pot of boiling water and strained it afterward, which worked perfectly fine. Overall, it's an enjoyable tea that was easy to make and tasted great. I'd buy it again.

Smells really good

I really enjoyed this hibiscus rose herbal tea. The smell is wonderful as soon as you open the package, and the flavor is pleasantly balanced with the floral hibiscus and rose coming through nicely. The mix of ingredients feels thoughtful and well put together, and I appreciated that it brewed cleanly in my single cup tea infuser without any crumbs falling into the water. The tea had a pinkish color after brewed, it tasted good even after the temperature had started to cool down. Overall, it’s a smooth, enjoyable tea and a good value for the price.

This is tasty and comforting. The tea is high quality and steeps well! You only need about 1 tsp per 6 - oz. I am pleased with the flavor and the smell! It's so fragrant and inviting.

A lovely herbal tea

This is loose tea so you’ll need tea bags or a tea ball to steep it. The bag is super well made and tightly seals. The tea itself looks exactly like you’d hope for - a fresh dried mixture of flowers and herbs. It greets you with an incredible smell, too! It’s a fennel forward blend of various herbs listed on the bag: hibiscus, fennel, chamomile, star anise, cardamom, rose, natural flavor, and blue cornflower. The tea smells of fennel most prominently both in the bag and as brewed, but a lovely looking and tasting blend of herbs will delight you with this tea. The chamomile comes through at the end but the rose is gently there to avoid chamomile being too strong (I’m not a big chamomile flavor fan).It brews up a very nice rose color.I steeped for around 5 minutes per their instructions and enjoyed it quite a bit. While fennel is kind of upfront on the smell, there is a really nice mix of other flavors and a sweetness that lingers.I’m definitely enjoying this tea for a relaxing cup around bedtime. This is a generous amount too, you get a lot of tea. I have used only a bit less than a teaspoon for 8oz of water and it was plenty for bold smells and taste.

Well rounded floral blend, refreshing hot or cold

I drink tea almost every day and I love floral and herbal teas quite a bit so I was excited to get this Hibiscus Rose loose tea and try it out.The bag is a very good size bag for the price. I appreciated the brewing instructions included on the back for hot and iced versions. I made this tea both ways and thought it was refreshing and delicious as both. The bag reseals easily to keep it fresh. The tea is fragrant and captivating as soon as the bag is opened. Its a beautiful blend, very visually appealing and its easy to identify the components with the rose petals, Hibiscus and chamomile really standing out.The tea came out medium strength in my opinion, its not pungent dark or light and watery. You get the layers of sweet and tart from the Hibiscus, a bit of spice from the fennel and anise and warmth from the cardamom. Well rounded and complex but not overpowing.I would recommend this tea as an anytime tea. If you lean towards refreshing fruity, floral and sweet lighter herbal teas this is a perfect blend. I did not add any sweetener, or anything else to mine besides ice but I do feel it would lend itself to sweet or milk additions if that's your thing.Lastly I also appreciate the company commitment to being plastic neutral and being an ethical company in it's production community. I would definitely purchase this blend again and look forward to exploring more blends from them in the future.Review for: BREWIX, Hibiscus Rose Herbal Loose Tea (50+ Cups) | 100% Natural, Handmade, Pure from Hibiscus Flowers | Hibiscus with Rose Petals, Chamomile and Exotic Spices | Supports Everyday Wellness, Digestion and Cardiovascular System | Rich in Antioxidants & Support Overall Health | Floral Tea

Loose leaf hibiscus rose tea

This loose leaf tea is blended from hibiscus flowers and rose petals. It also has chamomile and exotic spices blended in. It's great for overall health because it's full of antioxidants. It even tastes great, a gentle taste. To me it is a mild, soft tea, not bitter. This tea is imported from India where they have great exotic teas and that is practically all they drink. This makes a gorgeous red tea, very enticing looking. And this type of tea is gluten free great for vegetarians and vegans. And a price is a little over the top but it's a great tea. So if you're a tea drinker you really need to try this tea.

Visually stunning floral presentation.

I didn't actually expect whole flower buds and petals and they held together while steeping. A palatable floral and tart with that sweet anise licorice flavor. The fennel blended into it all is lovely. The aroma has a calming effect on its own. I like that it's good for maintaining a healthy blood pressure. Priced at $16.49.

Beautiful floral blend, spice forward

I love floral teas and was instantly drawn to the vibrant colors of this Hibiscus Rose blend. The dried tea is simply gorgeous; the chamomile and blue cornflower add a lovely visual touch alongside the hibiscus and rose.Right out of the bag, the aroma is sweet, though the spices (fennel, star anise, and cardamom) are very prominent. Following the instructions (1 tsp per 7 oz water), I ended up with a beautiful amber brew. On the palate, the rose and chamomile are the dominant floral notes, with the hibiscus providing a subtle, tart spark. The spices are well-balanced with each other and come together to make a very pleasant warming element. While the flavors work well together, the spice element a bit more dominant than I was expecting. It’s a lovely, warm cup of tea, though I personally would prefer it to be a bit more floral-forward and less spice-heavy.

Best tea company around, in my opinion

I’ve always loved BREWIX’ story, authenticity, transparency, and overall mission. I’ve purchased Masala Chai for years, but thought I’d venture out and try something new. Of course, I trusted that it would be just as good as the Chai. The Hibiscus Rose loose tea leaves were fragrant from the moment I tore open the envelope. Authentic aromas lovingly invited me to steep my tea and it did not disappoint. Rich vibrant color, and delicious taste greeted me yet once again.I’m a huge fan of this company. They are priced perfectly, with trustworthy ingredients, and a solid mission statement. Can definitely recommend

unexpected and lovely flavor, beautiful tea

BREWIX, Hibiscus Rose Herbal Loose Tea (50+ Cups) | 100% Natural, Handmade, Pure from Hibiscus Flowers | Hibiscus with Rose Petals, Chamomile and Exotic Spices | Supports Everyday Wellness, Digestion and Cardiovascular System | Rich in Antioxidants & Support Overall Health | Floral Tea (Hibiscus Rose (50 Cups)When I saw the product page for this tea, I almost passed it over, until I read the ingredients list. The fact that this hibiscus-rose tea also has cardamom and star anise made me curious. I love cardamom, and thought the anise would make this very interesting. So, I ordered it.First time I opened the bag, I was astounded at how colorful and beautiful the dried ingredients are (I even sent photos of it to a couple people). The liquid tea is a lovely rosy color and has a wonderfully complex flavor. The anise is very present but not unpleasantly forward. And I love love love that this tea is not sweet. It's visually pleasing to make, much more interesting than regular tea leaves. And for the cost-per-cup it's a totally reasonable value. Very pleased with it.

A little weak in color and flavor, but smells amazing.

I don't want to be too harsh, and it's definitely possible I did something wrong, but I didn't have the best experience with this tea.The packaging for it is excellent. The tear-off top comes off nice and didn't stray close to the resealable zippy bit. It's nice that it reseals, too. The aroma of this tea, when you first open the package and every time thereafter, is fantastic. It's light and floral and distinct. Heck, it even looks pretty! As I made the tea the same way that I always do: I pulled the kettle off the burner when it was just shy of boiling, and poured it directly over the vessel for the tea (in this case, a little silicone dog thing). There was no color that released for at least a minute or two, which I found odd, and by the time 5-6 minutes had passed, it was still lacking in color, despite smelling lovely. The package says to use 1tsp, but if anything, I used more than that.Of course, color isn't the end-all-be-all of flavor, so I gave it a taste. You mostly get the sour flavor of hibiscus, although the grassy, herbal flavor of the chamomile sticks around as an aftertaste. I've had worse tea. However, the flavor was about as strong as it looks like it would be, based on the color. It doesn't pack any sort of punch. It's possible I did something wrong, of course. Maybe the water wasn't hot enough; maybe there was too much water; maybe my tea steeping vessel was just not made for this kind of tea (although I've never had problems with other loose-leaf tea before). Maybe my expectations were too high. I don't know where to look for the cause of my disappointment.Overall, I wasn't a huge fan. This would probably be lovely for someone else, but I can say with confidence that it's not for me. I gave 4 stars because, again, there's a real possibility that either I did something wrong, or that I'm my palette isn't suited to this kind of tea.

Nice flavor, a bit unique

I ordered this hibiscus rose tea because I wanted a caffeine-free option with a little more flavor than my usual herbal teas. I’ve been brewing it in the evenings and also tried it iced once, and both worked well. The color is really vibrant when it steeps, and the taste has that tart hibiscus base with a floral note from the rose. I liked that it feels refreshing without needing to add anything, though I did try it with a little honey once and that balanced it out nicely. The loose leaves are easy to work with and seem pretty fresh. It’s been a nice change from the more basic teas I usually drink. That said, the flavor is a bit more complex than I expected. There’s a slight spice note in the background that took me a couple cups to get used to. It’s not bad, just different if you’re expecting a simple hibiscus tea. Compared to plain herbal teas, this one has a bit more going on, which may or may not be your thing. I still find myself making a cup when I want something a little more interesting. Overall, it’s been enjoyable, just not the most straightforward flavor.

Absolutely delicious tea!

This is such a lovely herbal tea and every ingredient listed you can actually SEE in the tea. Little rose petals, hibiscus flowers, chamomile flowers, fennel, star anise. It's all there. The tea is truly delicious and to be fair, I don't mind fennel (it's used in so many Italian dishes and sausages) but star anise which has a similar flavor profile is a bit like licorice which I abhor! Crazily, thought it's mild enough in this tea that it doesn't bother me at all. The tea is so refreshing and even helps decongest me (that's probably thanks to the fennel and star anise). It's so delicious! Even thought I primarily only drink tea when I'm sick, my husband is a die-heart tea drinker and he is obsessed with this. I love that Brewmix skips the auction houses and brokers and buys direct from the tea farmers allowing for the freshest produce and ensuring the farmers receive a fair price. Also the tea industry is the largest employer of women in India and I appreciate supporting these hard workers who harvest the tea. I will absolutely be repurchasing this and trying some other varietals.

Relaxing Tea with Great Flavor and Aroma

This tea has a really nice aroma and flavor. The tea looked and smelled fresh right out of the bag. I used only one teaspoon with hot water as directed and I got a nice cup of tea with the right amount of intensity. I added a bit of honey and it tasted even better. Couldn’t find my tea infuser, so I poured the water directly onto it and strained it after a few minutes. It’s very calming and I felt relaxed after drinking it. Definitely a great option for winding down.

Smooth refreshing taste

Oh my goodness when I opened the package I was hit with the most wonderful fragrance so I knew it was fresh and couldn’t wait to taste it. Wasn’t disappointed in the flavor, rich and refreshing. The tea has a nice light aroma while drinking it and is a beautiful color. Easy to make, add the loose tea in a steeper, add boiling water and let it sit for 5 minutes. The color comes out as soon as the water hits it. The tea itself has gorgeous colors and looks beautiful, would be lovely in a clear container on display. I am keeping it in the heavy resealable bag in came in for freshness. I had it hot and cold both ways are great. The ingredients are hibiscus, fennel, chamomile, star anise, cardamom, rose, blue cornflower and natural flavor. Best by date is 2028. The flavor reminds me of a cherry flavored drink. It’s has a smooth sweet taste and is easy to drink without adding any sweetener. Quality ingredients, makes 50 cups and delicious so this is a very good value.
