What is in the box
Turmeric Ginger, 20 Pyramid Bags. Whole turmeric and ginger root, warming and
a little peppery. Our best rated tea, 4.6 from over 80 reviews. Traditionally
taken after food.
Daily Detox, 30 Pyramid Bags. The biggest box of the three. Turmeric and
ginger again, rounded out with other botanicals, and gentler than the straight
Turmeric Ginger.
Perfect Mint, 20 Pyramid Bags. Whole mint leaf, nothing else. Clean and
cooling, the opposite of the other two, and the one for straight after dinner.
How to brew all three
The same way. Boiling water straight off the kettle, cover the cup, 5 to 8
minutes. Roots release slowly and most people pull the bag far too early.
None of the three turns bitter if you forget it. A slice of lemon suits the
turmeric ones.
The bags are plant based and biodegradable, which is also why we ask you not
to leave one sitting in water for hours.

How to brew it
Three teas, three rules
Nothing here is fussy. Each tea wants one thing, and once you know which of the three it belongs to you will get it right every time.
Boil it, do not steep it
Two heaped teaspoons in a cup of water, boil hard for two minutes, add a cup of milk and bring it back. Sugar goes in the pan, not the cup.
Straight off the kettle
One heaped teaspoon, boiling water, and take it out on time. Past five minutes the tannins come through and it turns sharp. Takes milk well.
Never boiling water
Let the kettle stand two minutes off the boil first. Boiling water is what makes green tea bitter. About a third the caffeine of coffee.
